About Taylor

Taylor Lonsdale - Certified Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Swim Coach and EMT​

In high school, Taylor competed on the Varsity Swim Team.

For the Summers of 2009 and 2010, Taylor became a Junior Lifeguard through the City of Phoenix.  She volunteered at the PV Pool through the Summer season each year, assisting certified lifeguards, and learning the skills to become a well-trained lifeguard and swim instructor.

 

In 2011 Taylor became a Certified Lifeguard, and worked at Wet N Wild in Phoenix, AZ.  She became certified in basic life support through the Red Cross, and obtained her certifications in lifeguarding and water safety.

In 2012, Taylor joined the lifeguarding team at the City of Phoenix, and worked as a Certified Lifeguard at PV Pool.  She also obtained her certification to become a Swim Instructor, and started teaching swim lessons to children ages 2-10 in a group setting.

In 2013, Taylor completed the EMT program at Glendale Community College and became a Certified EMT.  This adds a higher level in safety to Taylor's experience as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor.  Also in 2013, Taylor added Swim Coach to her expertise by becoming certified to coach children competitively for swim meets.

 

After Summer season ended in 2013, Taylor was asked to join the City of Scottsdale Lifeguarding team for Cactus Pool, which remains open all year.  While at Cactus Pool, Taylor was promoted to Head Lifeguard, and eventually became an assistant manager.

 

Taylor started giving private lessons for the Summer of 2013 based on the many request she received to do so.  She continues to offer private lessons for children of all ages and adults, and can tailor each lesson to individuals or multiple participants.
